Kick off the holiday season with a visit to our Holiday Hoopla Open Studio! Drop in anytime to paint your own handmade ceramic ornament—the perfect addition to your Christmas tree or a thoughtful handmade gift for someone special.
Choose your favorite design, add your own creative touch with colorful glazes, and we'll fire it for you. No reservation needed—just stop by, relax, and enjoy a festive holiday tradition with family and friends. Ornaments will be fired and ready for pick up 1-2 weeks later.

GINGERBREAD HOUSES
The gingerbread house you'll enjoy for years—not just one season.
This special two-session workshop gives you the time to create a truly one-of-a-kind holiday keepsake.
Session One: Handbuild your ceramic gingerbread house from clay, adding charming details like candy, frosting, windows, doors, and festive textures.
Session Two: Return after your house has been fired to bring it to life with colorful glazes during an extended decorating session. Paint every sweet detail and make it uniquely yours before we complete the final firing.
The result is an heirloom-quality holiday decoration you'll look forward to displaying year after year—or a heartfelt handmade gift that will become part of someone else's holiday tradition.

EVERGREEN TREES
Back by popular demand—and after selling out in record time last year!
Our beloved Evergreen Trees workshop returns for another holiday season. In this two-hour handbuilding class, you'll create three beautifully textured ceramic trees in varying sizes, perfect for mantels, tablescapes, or holiday displays. Personalize each tree with your own patterns and textures before choosing your glaze colors. These timeless decorations will become part of your holiday tradition for years to come.

KIDS & TEENS CLAYTIME
NO SCHOOL - NO PROBLEM! Kids will create a lidded cylinder jar and customize it into silly or magical characters. We can add faces, hair, and personality and create a matching lid that will allow for all sorts of goodies or trinkets to be stored safely once finished. Glazed and fired pottery will be ready about 4 weeks later.

NO SCHOOL DAY! Hang out at our studio for a few hours and send Mom or Dad to run some errands for two hours. Let's mold, shape, and create cute mugs while making memories together. Bring a buddy! No experience needed! Suitable for older kids, ages 10 and above.
We will use slab building techniques as we shape and texture mugs that are as unique as you are! They will be glazed and fired and ready to jazz up your hot cocoa a few weeks later!

POTTERY WHEEL CLASSES

Intro to Pottery Wheel (2hrs)
Looking for a date night, team building workshop, Girl’s night out, birthday party, quality family time or just some time for yourself, away from life’s hectic pace?
Our Intro wheel-throwing workshop is the perfect fit! During this fun 2 hour session you will learn to make two to three round pieces (bowl or cup shaped) on an electric potter’s wheel. Your pieces will be glazed and fired by your instructor and can be picked up a few weeks later!
Ages 11yrs and up (max. 6 participants)

Multi-Week Classes (6 week sessions)
BEGINNER 1 & 2: This class is geared to beginners and returning students, but can accommodate all skill levels! Over the course of 8 weeks, you'll learn how to make pottery on the potter's wheel as well as the tools and techniques used to create, trim and glaze wheel thrown pottery. You will have lots of opportunity to make different shaped pots, bowls, cups, mugs or other vessels. During the last two weeks you learn to trim and glaze your own pottery. We can typically accommodate a class make-up date, if needed.
INTERMEDIATE: Ready to take your pottery skills to the next level? This six-week class is for students who’ve taken Intro classes a few times (or equivalent college). Emphasis is on improving consistency, control, size and form of your work while building on existing foundational wheel-throwing techniques. This class is best suited for students who are ready to expand their technical skills and introduces a broader range of surface treatments and finishing design. Ages 16 & up

Private Group Class
Bring the family, the BFF’s, a double date, the team or the office group and enjoy a meditative clay session! This one guarantees some bonding and some laughs!
Choose from pottery wheel or handbuilding options.
Pottery Wheel: Minimum 4 participants / maximum 6 participants
Handbuilding/Sculpting: Minimum 4 participants / Maximum 10 participants (Contact us if your group is larger or you are interested in an off-site option)
Do I need to have any experience?
Nope! Most of our classes and workshops are designed for beginners—or anyone who just wants a fun refresher. We’ll provide the clay, tools, glaze, and firing, so you just show up ready to play.
Already dabbled in pottery before? Perfect. Come knock the rust off and enjoy some studio time.
Is a 2 hour workshop right for me?
Yes, if you’re curious and want to give pottery a “spin” without a big time commitment. These short sessions are great as a first try—or as a creative night out with a friend. Workshops often follow a seasonal theme or focus on a simple project, so you can always come back to try something new.
What if I get hooked?
That’s when the real fun begins! Our 4- or 6-week beginner classes walk you through the whole process—from squishy lump of clay to finished, glazed mug. You’ll have more time to throw, trim, carve, add handles, and glaze your own pots, week by week.
